When considering buying Web Hosting
there are several key questions that you will need
to ask. Below we have highlighted the 10 most important
for you.
If
you are purchasing web space
then the answer should be
no.
Ideally
the cost of your domain
name registration should
already be included within
the hosting package.
The
answer should be, YOU DO,
as long as you have paid.
There
should be no hidden charges.

how to save money, to see
what services you may be
charged extra for.
At
sometime in the future,
you may want to transfer
your domain and hosting
to another company. Ideally,
your existing host should
not charge you for this,
if they do it should be
a small fee.
As
a bare minimum, your hosting
company should provide you
with email technical support.
Ideally, they should have
online and telephone support
as well.
You
should be able to upgrade
your service in the future,
and unless, your service
is up for renewal, this
should be a percentage of
the total price.
If
your account is not setup
straightaway, then this
should be done the same
day for you. New domain
names can take up to 24
hours to become active,
so you will not be able
to access your web space
in this time.
The
answer to this is obviously
YES, and the longer the
better. As an example Compila's
is 60 days.
Your
hosting company should be
able to provide you with
either or both of these
requests.
