In my honest opinion, backlinks are one of the most important, if not the most important factor in SEO Search Engine Optimization, for your web site. This is particularly true in a very competitive marketplace. Google and other search engines use backlinks as an important measure as to how credible/relevant your web site content is. The more backlinks your website has, the more credibility it gets given, resulting in a higher placement in search results.
In this SEO Tutorial, I am going to outline some ideas on how to increase your backlinks, how to create an effective SEO link building strategy and what not to do.
Some people just love the idea of black hat marketing (attempts to improve rankings in ways that are disapproved of by search engines, or involve deception.) Maybe they want a shortcut to Internet marketing. The truth is Google and the other search engines are wise to what these guys and gals are up to. In the end, black hat is just a waste of time.

I did my website a year ago, but I didn’t bild backlinks.
This was my mistake and now Im not hapyy with my PR.
But this article motivate me to work better and not to take a shortcut, which later to have opposite results.

Thank you for taking the time to comment and I hope you find what I write below useful. In my honest opinion linking is about 2 things; consistency and relevance.
Consistently building say 5 – 10 links a day, will increase your SEO ranking over time. Nothing is instant especially if you are trying to rank high for a competitive keyword.
However, links need to be relevant, all links are good, but some have higher importance. For example, a textual link deep inside someone’s article that links back to your site is more highly rated than a link on a social bookmarking site.
So I believe, content is the key, if you write good articles that others what to link to, this will give you a greater “Link Juice” than links from Web 2.0 signatures or about me pages.
